More detailed information on technical accessibility

The online service is not yet fully accessible.

Content or features that are not yet accessible:

  • Website has some inaccurate link texts. (WCAG 2.4.4)
  • Some parts of the text instruct the user to look for information in a certain direction (e.g. left). (WCAG 1.3.3)
  • Contrasts between some of the colours are too low. (WCAG 1.4.3)
  • User has difficulties in locating themselves in the web service because the user gets no information about e.g which tab is open. Tabs are also not coded as tabs but as links which is very confusing. (WCAG 4.1.2)
  • Web service contains buttons which are not named. (WCAG 4.1.2)
  • Web service does not have meaningful reading sequence in all pages because information can be found both before and after main heading. Also, focus order is illogical in some parts. (WCAG 1.3.2, WCAG 2.4.3)
  • Forms are not accessible because they are placed in tables and their fields have not been labelled correctly. Information about required fields is not placed in labels. Forms also have separate pop-up dialogs which contain additional information but are not accessible by assistive technologies. (WCAG 1.3.1, WCAG 3.3.2)
  • Not all page titles are descriptive. (WCAG 2.4.2)
  • Some tables are not interpreted correctly by assistive technologies. E.g. cells are read in wrong order or multiple times. (WCAG 1.3.1)
  • Some forms have a keyboard trap. Some elements are not accessible by keyboard (e.g additional information in forms). (WCAG 2.1.1, WCAG 2.1.2)
  • Status messages (e.g when accepting an event, when marking a message unread) are not read by assistive technologies. (WCAG 4.1.3)

An effort will be made to correct the shortcomings listed in this statement during 2023.
